SHIRLEY TWP, HUNTINGDON CO, Pa (WJAC) — According to a crash report from Huntingdon state police, 1 person was injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred Christmas Day.
State police say that the crash occurred around noon on Christmas Day, along Extract Road in Shirley Township, when the driver failed to negotiate a curve.
The vehicle struck a mailbox, reentered the roadway and struck an embankment on the opposite side of the road, before finally overturning.
Both the driver and the passenger were transported to J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, but only the passenger was treated for minor injuries.
