Steph took to YouTube to say goodbye to her father. She posted a video titled Rest In Peace Dad. She speaks to her fans saying that before she announced it the news of her dad’s accident has been circulated. Steph wanted to say something because her dad had a prominent place on her YouTube channel and he was her “best friend, and best dad anyone could ever ask for”.
Her parents had come over to their place. She stated that they had dinner together, watched YouTube videos, and had booked tickets to see a movie they had wanted to see. Two minutes after they left she received a call from her mother regarding the accident and her father’s passing.
According to Steph, John’s last words to his wife were “Oh my god! what is this guy doing?” She said the guy was drinking and was on drugs but the results are pending. The drunk driver was ok. Police say a 27-year-old North Canton man was driving a 2014 Chevy Silverado westbound when he traveled left of the center line and struck a 2017 Toyota.
Steph said that she feels broken and confused and asks herself “why did this happen to my family?”
Fans have paid tribute to her dad in the comment section. One fan wrote, “This world truly is cruel. Kind people are taken away out of nowhere for someone else’s recklessness. I hope you and your mom both find peace of mind and love for your dad in everything you do, he’s still watching out for you.”
Another fan added, “Your relationship with your dad is so wholesome. Remember he is so proud of you always. ️” Likewise, another commented, “I’m not an emotional man, but I couldn’t help but shed a tear throughout this video – my heart breaks for you and I hope you are able to recover and process from this absolute tragedy. May your dad rest in peace.”
